Serendipity Meadows - About
Anna Bumgarner
What can I say, I have a love for horses and people. So it is natural that I would be a Horse Trainer. I work with horses to improve skills and their responses and I work with people to do the same! As a trainer, I am very conscious of the risks involved in dealing with horses, and I will teach you how to handle your horse and hone your skills. If you are looking for someone that will be dedicated to making you a great rider, then I am right for you!
I have been a horsewoman for over 20 years (and a professional trainer since 1997), specializing in hunter/jumper lessons, training, and showing. My students range in ability from beginners to riders showing on the MHJA/USHJA circuits. I began my horse career at a young age helping to start young horses, grooming, and later managing a hunter/jumper facility where I began my lifelong dream of becoming a horse trainer. My primary focus is on offering a fun and friendly environment for horses and riders to show at top levels. I will ensure horse and rider use correct equitation and position to create a soft and responsive horse.
At my horse facility, I will also provide the right environment for your horse to be well cared for and loved when you are unable to be there.

The History or Story Behind My Site
My sister, Jill Hegland, has developed this website for me.
A note from Jill:
As a child I remember walking quite a ways to just pet the horses at a nearby farm with Anna. Every year she asked for a horse for Christmas, her Birthday, and whenever she saw one. I loved horses too, but not nearly as much as Anna. The most memorable riding experiences I have with Anna was up at our cabin. There was a farmer that had horses that he needed ridden to keep them in shape. We would ride them every day possible. The farmer let us borrow his horses and pretend that they were our own. It was quite awesome. We would trail ride, barrel race and the like, and once took the horses for a ride in the lake (It was nothing short of amazing). Well that is the furthest I took to horses. Anna would meet the farmer at horse shows and help him out as much as he would allow her. One of the first jobs Anna had was shoveling (you know what) in horse stalls at a drassage barn; I thougth she was crazy! She worked extremely hard and was able to take some drassage lessons while there, and then became a horse barn manager at another barn and soon started taking lessons to become a trainer. Yes, she got her Christmas wish and got her first horse, Heart Throb. She has done amazingly well with her career and has trained many horses and riders that seem to always be winning ribbons at horse shows. In my opinion, Anna's Spirit exudes a beauty and love for horses that is infectious.
